We are so proud of our graduating seniors this year and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

Cara Blake will be attending St. John’s University in New York, New York in the fall. She plans to pursue a major in anthropology. She has been a volunteer member on the Lummi Island Fire Department #11 for the past three years and graduated this spring with an Emergency Medical Technician Certification. She received the St. John’s Student Success Grant and was awarded the Hugh L. Carey Community Services Scholarship.

Anastasia Boulos will be attending Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. She has been accepted into the CGS Boston-London program, which allows her to begin her freshman year in January of 2018 in Boston, then will spend the Summer of 2018 studying alongside her professors in London. She plans to major in business with an emphasis in pre-law and is interested in potentially pursuing immigration of business law.

Bassam Boulos is graduating at the top of his class and will be attending Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California in the fall. He has been accepted into the Leavey School of Business, part of the LEAD Scholars program, and received the Santa Clara Incentive Grant.

Nabil Reed-Boulos will be attending Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington in the fall. He is undecided about his major but will keep pursuing his music interests. He received a merit scholarship as part of Western Washington University Opportunity Pathways Scholarship and Western Scholars Award.

Ivy Carter is attending Washington State University Tri-Cities in Tri-Cities, Washington in the fall. She plans to major in English and minor in business and has aspirations to be an author in the future. She received an academic achievement merit scholarship.

Autumn Engebretson is graduating at the top of her class and will be attending Rice University in Houston, Texas in the fall. She plans to double major in mathematical economic analysis and statistics. She was accepted early decision at Rice University and is a National Merit Finalist.

Taylor Mitchell is attending Bellingham Technical College in Bellingham, Washington in the fall. She is already accepted into the culinary arts program and plans to become a chef and open her own restaurant someday.

We are pleased to host Taylor Mitchell at our graduation ceremony, as a guest and long-term St. Paul’s Academy student. She will officially graduate from Sehome High School.
