We are thrilled to congratulate our 2022 Graduates. We enjoy celebrating the successes of our alums and wish all our recent graduates the best in their new endeavors.

High School Graduates

Hannah Joy Armerding attended St. Paul’s/Franklin Academy from kindergarten through 6th grade. She is a 2022 graduate of Lynden High School and is planning to attend Whatcom Community College in the Fall.

Nanki Barha attended St. Paul’s Academy/The Franklin Academy from preschool (3 years old) to 8th grade. Nanki graduated from Squalicum High School and will be attending Western Washington University. She will be double majoring in psychology and interdisciplinary studies. She intends to pursue law as her future career.

Matthew Chen attended St. Paul’s Academy/The Franklin Academy from Kindergarten to 7th grade. Matthew graduated from Sehome High School and will attend Harvard’s dual degree program with the Berklee College of Music. He is just 1 of 12 high school graduates in the country to meet the academic, character, and musicianship requirements to be accepted into the program. He will earn his Bachelor’s from Harvard, and a Master’s degree from the Berklee College of Music, in just five years.

John Crowley attended St. Paul’s Academy/The Franklin Academy from 2nd to 7th grade. He graduated from Bellingham High School and will attend Washington State University in the fall. He plans to study Hospitality and Business Management.

Grace Doud attended St. Paul’s Academy/The Franklin Academy from 1st to 8th grade. Grace graduated from Squalicum High School and will attend the Colorado School of Mines to study chemical engineering.

Isabel Ferris (they, them) attended St. Paul’s Academy/The Franklin Academy from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Isabel graduated from Bellingham High School (Summa Cum Laude). In their senior year, they stage-managed theater productions at BHS, worked as co-president of GSA, and continued exploring their love of music and math. Isabel will be attending the University of Victoria in Canada, accepted into the combined major of Music & Computer Science.

Sophia Francis attended St. Paul’s Academy/Franklin Academy from 5th to 8th grade. Sophia is graduating from Squalicum High School with an unweighted GPA of 3.99 and a weighted GPA of 4.5. She will be attending Polytechnic California State University in the fall. She is majoring in Bio-Medical Engineering, focusing on Genetics, and will minor in finance.

Noah Hunt attended St. Paul’s Academy/The Franklin Academy from 1st to 7th grade. Noah graduated from Sehome High School and will attend the University of Colorado in Boulder in the fall. He will study business at the University of Colorado’s Leeds Business School.

Josiah Puderbaugh is a 2022 graduate of Lynden High School. He actively participated in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and frequently competed at the state level. Josiah obtained the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. He was invited to join the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s honor society, and attend National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT). He will continue his academic career starting at Whatcom Community College, where he intends to study psychology.

Cate Wines attended St. Paul’s Academy/Franklin Academy from preschool (3 years old) to 8th grade. She graduated from Bellingham High School with honors, a National Merit Semifinalist, an AP Scholar with Distinction, and earned the Washington State Seal of Biliteracy. Cate is traveling to Spain and taking a ‘gap year” before attending the University of Washington. Cate’s major is undecided.

College Graduates

Peter Howard-Snyder attended Franklin Academy (St. Paul’s Academy) from kindergarten in 2005 to eighth grade in 2014. He graduated from The University of Washington with a BA in Philosophy and BS in Psychology (Cum Laude). Peter plans to work for a year and earn a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy.

William Howard-Snyder attended Franklin Academy (St. Paul’s Academy) from kindergarten in 2005 to eighth grade in 2014. He graduated this June with a BA in Philosophy (Cum Laude) and a BS in Computer Science with university and departmental honors. William will start a program in Computer Science at the University of Washington in September. He plans to apply to Ph.D. programs after that and hopes to pursue a research career in computational biology and medicine.
