Our 5th-grade students ventured out to Lutherwood Camp on the shores of Lake Samish – the perfect place to support our Ecosystems science unit this week, Wednesday through Friday.
Through experiential learning, students made connections as they practiced living in the community and learning to make healthy choices about their direct impact on the environment. The TREK course content primarily focused on the concepts of Energy Flow, Cycles, Interrelationships, Ecology, Botany, and Geology. Plus, we had the opportunity to enjoy great team building activities.
