Preschool (3 Year Old Program, 3 Days a Week)

Education: Western Washington University, B.A. History and Education

Naomi was born in Bellingham, and has lived here her whole life.  She graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in History and Education.   Upon graduating from Western, Naomi decided to teach preschool, because at the time she was the parent of two preschoolers.  What started as a temporary job, has turned into 14 year career. She loves the fact that preschool is such a hands-on learning experience.  Naomi taught preschool in a co-op for many years and had the opportunity to develop an integrated preschool with the Bellingham School District. She joined our school in 2019.

Outside of school, Naomi enjoys hiking and camping with her husband Kevin, and her three kids.  They are rarely allowed to head out on hiking trips without their beloved lab puppy, who insists on tagging along.  As a family, they have a goal to hike in all the national parks.

One of Naomi’s favorite sayings is, “It’s not how far you fall, but how high you bounce that counts.” ~ Zig Zigler
