More Ways to Give

With a strong Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) curriculum in place, The Franklin Academy is working toward becoming an accredited STEM school. The STEM program fund helps our school to stay on the cutting edge of advancements so our students are gaining the tools they need to be successful in tomorrow's STEM-focused world.

Parents Actively Lending Support (PALS) is the parent-led organization supporting Franklin Academy. PALS raises funds to pay for many programs and projects, and special needs that fall outside of the general budget. PALS is able to meet some of these special requests through it's Fund-A-Need budget. Click to see the current needs identified by PALS.

Annual Gala & Auction

The Franklin Academy’s annual Gala and Auction is a great way to support our school!

Year after year we are astounded by the generosity of our community. Here is your opportunity to be a supporting part of this event. Cash donations allow us to purchase many items below retail value in order to keep our costs down. A donation of $20 helps us purchase wine for the Wine Wheel Game, and a $1,500 donation can help underwrite a Live Auction Item such as a Trip to San Juan Island. Every dollar makes a difference and your donation may be tax deductible.

Choosing to be a Corporate or Family Sponsor is also a tremendous help! Every year our sponsors cover the cost of the printing, décor, rental of the ballroom, and meals. This means every dollar raised at the Gala goes directly to support our educational program, teachers, and tuition scholarships.

Why Give?

We are grateful for your continuing support of Franklin Academy. Your gifts contribute to future generations of bright children who are and will be Franklin's students. A tradition of support from alumni, parents, and friends helps ensure that students continue their growth into positions of community leadership.

Tuition at Franklin Academy covers approximately 62% of the total cost of educating a student: the balance is made up through contributions from donors like you.

Every gift is an act of kindness, and greatly appreciated. Some of the many reasons to give are:

Attracting Top Educators

A great school is built one superb teacher at a time. Gifts to the school enable us to continue improving our compensation program, so we can attract and retain proven, outstanding educators.

Supporting Eager Students from Diverse Backgrounds

We aim to pair excellent teachers with bright students in the community. Need-blind admission is a critical goal for us, and we need your support to achieve it.

Ensuring the Enduring Legacy of Local Excellence

Your gift ensures that we can continue developing a high quality independent school that will serve current and future generations in Northwest Washington.

Donations Can Be Made:
