Grace Schmidt
Grace Schmidt

5th Grade Teacher / Math Specialist

Born and raised in Bellingham, Grace Schmidt grew up with a love for all things Pacific Northwest. After graduating from Seattle Pacific University with a degree in psychology, she moved back to the area and worked as a legal assistant for several years. During this time, Grace frequently volunteered with children of all ages through her church, leading her to realize that her true passion was caring for and educating children and pursue her Masters of Arts in Teaching through Western Governors University.  For her internship, Grace had the incredible opportunity to complete her student teaching at Franklin Academy (St. Paul’s Academy at the time).  She instantly felt a connection with the students, teachers, and families and is thrilled to now be working as a member of the staff.

When Grace is not in the classroom, you can find her experimenting in the kitchen, practicing classical guitar, traveling the world, or exploring our wonderful corner of the country with her husband, Daniel, and her dachshund, Spezi.
