Thank you for coming to “Back to School Night” yesterday. The purpose of this night is for parents and guardians to spend time with your child’s new teacher(s) and learn more about their expectations, procedures, and curriculum for the year.

Getting a glimpse of where your child spends a large chunk of their day is valuable. It lets your student know that you care about their education and is a great way to start a healthy home to school connection.

If you didn’t get a chance to attend last night, there will be many other opportunities that foster a positive relationship with your child’s school. One of those is joining our parent association (PALS) and another is volunteering in your child’s classroom.  There will also be parent teacher conferences in November.

Any possible way you can participate in The Franklin Academy community shows your child that you are interested in their learning community, and I think I speak for our entire community when I say, “We love having our parents’ support!”
